By downloading or using Pantri, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pantri ("the App"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Pantri offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free version of Pantri allows up to 3 ingredient scans per day. Premium features including unlimited scans, Chef Pantri chat, weekly meal planning, and nutrition insights require an active Pantri Premium subscription.

5. User Content

You may submit photos and ingredient information through the App. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the App's services (recipe generation and ingredient detection).

Photos submitted for ingredient detection are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently on our servers.

6. AI-Generated Content

Recipes, meal plans, and cooking suggestions generated by Pantri are created by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially regarding food safety, allergies, and dietary restrictions.

7. Food Allergies and Safety

While Pantri allows you to set food allergy preferences, the App does not guarantee that generated recipes will be free of allergens. Always verify ingredients carefully before preparing any recipe, especially if you or someone you are cooking for has food allergies or dietary restrictions. Pantri is not responsible for any adverse reactions or health issues arising from the use of recipes generated by the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content in the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantri and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

10. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
